TITLE : The amount of acids in fruits (:

Project Title:
How does the amount of acid differ between sweet fruits and sour fruits?
Problem Question:
What acid are we suppose to use ?
Hypothesis:
The taste and the colour will change between this 2 fruits.
Expected date of research completion:
Project Mentor and Signature: Mr Thomas
Apparatus and Materials Needed:
1. weighing scale
2. plastic plate
3. plastic bags
4. knife
5. citric acid and hydrochloric acid
6. lime/ lemon ( sour fruits)
7. honeydew ( sweet fruits)
Experimental Procedure Setup:
1. cut both sweet and sour fruits
2. put them on the plastic plate ( prepare 2 set of fruits on the plate )
3. throw the remaining in the plastic bags
4. pour the citric acid on 1st set of different fruit
5. pour the hydrochloric acid on the 2nd set of different fruit
6. WAIT
7. measure each fruit’s weight and note down the weight ( see if there’s any changes)
8. clarify the colour between all fruits
9. smell the fruits if there’s any changes
10. The end !!!
